Organisations and employees of the 21st century are required to adapt to changing workforce needs. The rise of digital technology requires people and technology to work together to adapt to the changing workforce needs across the globe. Managers need to have the skills and knowledge to be innovative, digital savvy, manage business risks, and develop and sustain a strong culture.
The course is designed for young and mature-age professionals who have work experience and want to progress into management and leadership roles. The course is also targeted to people who may not have work experience; however, they are aspiring for managerial and leadership roles.
Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.
To be eligible for entry into the Diploma of Leadership and Management; it is recommended that student’s complete secondary education with 2 years of full-time equivalent work experience.
Our recognition of prior learning (RPL) enables students to apply for credit based on prior study, formal training, and work experience. RPL is assessed based on students providing evidence.
